People that work such jobs wouldn’t want to continuing working when something like the zombie apocalypse is happening. Also, keep in mind that running water, anything that relies on electricity and natural gas lines will stop working. If your original character comes across a working one, they should keep it because it can be very useful to have. After all, if the survivors in L4D had working cell phones, would you not think that they would’ve used it to call for help? It is why we saw them and everyone else only using walkie-talkies and radios because those were the only things that could work in emergencies. So for your Left 4 Dead story it would be a little more realistic that cell phones would be useless. Those items help them to stay organize and to figure out where their help is needed. However, authorities and first responders use emergency communication devices such as walkie-talkies and radios. It also makes calling for help extremely difficult for civilians. When hundreds of thousands of people worldwide tried calling loved ones, the system became overloaded because it can not handle the massive and unexpected surge.

That’s because the TV show is about how to survive the aftermath of the end of the world. I hope that's not the case because it's kind of scummy. On the History Channel there’s a pilot for a TV show, Apocalypse Man (I totally recommend it) and after watching it, then playing Left 4 Dead 2, it has inspired some ideas and helpful information that writers may want to know for their story. God knows why these character models cause this to happen, maybe some secret script? Similar to what happened to the U.I. Any help please? Or anyone else who's experiencing or has experienced this?Įdit: I can confirm it was these two Resident Evil 2 REMAKE Hunk Character model replacers that was causing it:

And any mods i do have are usually skins and campaigns. When i was playing this often a few months ago it was fine, and since then i haven't installed many additional mods. Before you ask, yes i'm playing with mods, why would i not be? But none of them affect anything like this or have any scripts to do something like this. It happens the same with pills/adrenaline. The only thing i've noticed it doesn't seem to happen to is my secondary pistols (but thats only sometimes) it's really frustrating. The same thing happens for primary weapons and throwables. My medkit disappears if i swap it for anything. If i have a medkit, and then see for example frag or incendiary ammo and want to just quickly deploy that ammo and then pick up my medkit again after, I can't. But i'm having a really frustrating issue when playing singleplayer or hosting a local server. I've recently started playing this game again.
